Jurassic Coast walks on the Isle of Purbeck

Explore the gems of the Jurassic Coast with us through our favourite walks. Browse or search by key word to find the perfect walk for you. Each walk includes a hand illustrated map, our notes of the things to look out for and of course the all important step by step instructions, starting point and stats.

You’ll find links to the Ordnance Survey (OS) map routes, which include GPX links that are handy for use on other apps such as Footpath or Strava. Taking an extra phone battery pack is usually a good idea, especially for longer routes when using apps. If you think you might be out of phone signal, you can download the OS maps before you go and print off our instruction sheets to take with you - a pencil might be handy to mark off points of interest along the way. Kids might like to colour the maps in when they get home.

I love to walk. Walking is a spiritual journey and a reflection of living. Each of us must determine which path to take and how far to walk; we must find our own way, what is right for one may not be for another

'Ride,' Pleasure said;
'Walk,' Joy replied.”
